| Help Us Help Campaign |
| The “Help Us Help” Scholarship Campaign is a three-year effort to raise money for the Metropolitan Atlanta Musicians Association’s Scholarship Fund. This campaign will culminate with a “Signature Gala Recital” on Saturday, April 26, 2008. Former “Help Us Help” events have included two scholarship concerts at Friendship Baptist Church in Atlanta, which featured outstanding talent from Atlanta area schools and colleges. Funds raised at these concerts enabled MAMA to award scholarships to two Morehouse College music students from Post-Katrina New Orleans, and a female Middle School violinist, who now studies with a member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. “Help Us Help,” as we continue to promote youth, collegiate and emerging artists during these critical years of their artistic development. |
